Queensland has a global reputation as a producer of quality marine vessels.
 
The State is home to a variety of marine industry companies that specialise in designing, building and maintaining vessels ranging from small recreational boats, motor cruisers, commercial and defence vessels through to luxury superyachts.

As well as vessel manufacturing, Queensland has diverse capabilities across the marine sector, including:

    • marinas.

  • Quintrex - leading Australian manufacturer in the aluminium boat market, having over 45 per cent of total market share
  • Sunrunner Cruisers - manufacturer and exporter of luxury sport cruisers ranging from 28 to 49 feet.
